Orphan: First Kill: Release Date and Trailer For The Prequel That Brings Back The Terrifying Character Of Isabelle Fuhrman
At last, it debuted: this Wednesday Diamond Films released the first trailer for what will be the prequel to the terrifying 2009 film, Orphan: First Kill, and brings its creepy protagonist back. The film delves into the story of Leena Klammer (Isabelle Fuhrman), who orchestrates a brilliant escape from a Russian asylum and travels to the United States.
Upon arrival, he takes over the identity of Esther, the missing daughter of a wealthy family. However, her new life brings something unexpected, and she will be faced with a mother played by Julia Stiles, who will do whatever it takes to protect her family from her. Fuhrman was just 12 years old when she filmed the original film and now, more than a decade later, she will reprise her role as Leena.
To achieve Fuhrman’s old look, techniques such as forced perspective, angles and light positioning were used to recreate her as a girl, in addition to the implementation of digital resources. The installment is directed by William Brent Bell, who is known in the horror world for The Boy and its sequel Brahms: The Boy II.
