One Piece: The First Look From The Set And The New Cast Members From Live Action Series! Netflix Geeked Week 2022
During the first day of Netflix Geeked Week – the online event dedicated to the news of the streamer – a video preview of the awaited live adaptation of One Piece was unveiled. The cast of the Netflix series taken from the famous manga by Eichiro Ora showed a preview of a clip with the first concept looks and the construction of three of the ships protagonists of the adventures of Luffy, Zoro and the other members of the protagonist crew.
Netflix Shows Three Ships From The One Piece Series
In the short video, we see the design and construction phases of three ships, obviously starting with the Going Merry, the first ship captained by Cappello di Paglia. The main ship, however, is not shown completely. Instead, let’s see more clearly the construction of the Miss Love Duck, a pink sailing ship decorated with hearts, owned by the pirates of Aldiba. In the video, we see the detail of the figurehead in the shape of a duck neck. Even more impressive is the Baratie, a restaurant ship that moves around the Eastern Sea with the characteristic fish mouth excavation, faithfully reconstructed by the carpenters on the set. The ship is closely related to Sanji’s story.
One Piece: The Cast
In addition to the video, new members of the Straw Hat crew have been revealed! They join the series, based on the beloved manga by Eiichiro Oda, Langley Kirkwood, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, Craig Fairbrass, Steven Ward, and Chioma Umeala. These six new actors will appear alongside stars Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar. Kirkwood will play Captain Morgan, Loots will play Kaya, Maniatis will play Klahadore, Fairbass will be Chef Zeff, Ward will be Mihawk, and Umeala will appear as Nojiko. Other cast members are Morgan Davies, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Aidan Scott, Jeff Ward, McKinley Belcher III, Vincent Regan, and Peter Gadiot.
One Piece: The Story
The story tells of Monkey D. Luffy, a young adventurer with a great sense of justice, driven by the desire to become the King of the Pirates in a bizarre world full of freebooters, with even more bizarre superpowers. Luffy and his crew will clash with rivals of all kinds, tyrants, and officers of the Navy, experiencing the most incredible adventures.
