The stories of Disney plus Hotstar Quix, which are being told in small installments, seem to be untouchable after watching the trailer. Of these, you must see the web series ‘Mukesh Jasoos’ on this weekend. The Series comes with Episodes of 10–12 minutes. You can watch all of them for free without subscription. Rahul Bagga and Paritosh Tripathi have amazing acting. Poonam Dhillon is in the avatar of Daru Wali aunty. Along with great writing and great direction. The supporting cast also did a great job.

Mukesh Jasoos Review

The web series ‘Mukesh Jasoos’ is like a shocking reveal of this season. No publicity anywhere. Not someone’s call from OTT’s PR agency. Free sandalwood has been left in Nandan to be worn like this. On Thursday, after watching Salman Khan’s film ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai‘, clicked on the first episode of the web series ‘Mukesh Jasoos’ to see some light-heartedness, then did not feel like going away without watching continuously for the seventh episode. During the binge watch, after a long time, a series was so entertaining.

The real star of ‘Mukesh Jasoos’ is its script. Four smart people have kept its texture so accurate from the four corners that Sirhana, Paitana are all well. The casting is also amazing. Every artist looks as if they are the same character. Arjun’s father is crying in front of Mukesh by tearing the bagga or the assistant who brings coffee to the tea shop. Everyone has done 100% of their share. Its forward-looking story, like Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s films, begins with the burial of a corpse and moves from the antics of an LLB failed lawyer to a detective.

The Performances

The web series ‘Mukesh Jasoos’ has two stars, Rahul Bagga and Paritosh Tripathi. Just like Parimal and Sukumar of ‘Chupke Chupke’. Rahul’s character is more challenging here because Mukesh’s challenges are both at home and outside. At home, his wife is engrossed in someone else in front of him. Everything has to be set on the outside. Rahul Bagga has performed well here. He is the artist of Rajkummar Rao and Ayushman Khurana’s league, the giants of Hindi cinema must look at this series or else they will lose a great actor.

In the role of Mukesh’s friend, Paritosh Tripathi has also given his life in the series. His facial postures make the audience laugh. It is Paritosh’s character who helps in making Rahul Bagga a Mukesh detective. Rukhi Malaviya’s efforts to become a social influencer are good. Anamika Shukla, who appeared in the seventh episode, also managed to leave her impact. Seeing the role of Police Inspector, Mukesh Chhabra, who turned from casting director to film director, was a surprise. Acting Mukesh has also done well. Rajeshwari Sachdev is definitely a misfit in his character.

If the dialogues of ‘Mukesh Jasoos’, the best web series in story, screenplay, direction and acting, could have gone further than the web series ‘Panchayat’. There was an adulterated philosophy of Indian rural life. Here is the real face of Mumbai, which dwells with the breath of those working in high-rise buildings. The web series ‘Mukesh Jasoos’, which tells this very real life story of slums, also reminds me of Sudhir and Vinod of ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’.

The Last Words

The series’ opening credits have been well crafted. Its cameraman should have shown similar creativity in the series. Editing is agile but the background music lacks freshness. Technically, the series could have been a bit better. But even in such a difficult time, bringing a smile to your face is a big win. From the performance to narration all at perfect point.
