Money Heist: Korea: Cast Revealed Who Is Who And The Similarities With The Spanish Series
Money Heist or La Casa De Papel, is one of Netflix’s greatest phenomena. It was a Spanish series that hadn’t made much noise before it hit the platform, but once it was uploaded to streaming, its popularity exploded and everyone wanted to know more about those thieves who wore red suits and masks with the face of a famous surrealist painter.
The series was different from everything we had seen before, it was not the first heist story, but this one focused on the characters, their stories and motivations, and with that it made Tokyo, The Professor, Berlin and company the biggest heroes of the moment. And it was so good, it was always at the top of Netflix , led fans to create all kinds of theories about what was going to happen at the end and inspired many to dress up as them on Halloween.
Money Heist ended with 5 seasons (the last divided into two parts), which left several dead , and left a gap in streaming that we all knew would be difficult to fill, until it was announced that Korea (which dominates the television currently) was going to release his own version. Money Heist: Korea is coming soon, but first you need to know some details.

The Trailer
The first teaser of the series simply revealed that The Professor is already preparing his plan and we see him approach a wall full of masks, where one with the face of Salvador Dalí is found, which is one of the clues that the series is not going to move too far from its Spanish version.
What is The Series About? How Different Will It Be?
The description of the series says that “disguised under the shadows of a mask, a team of outlaws comes together under the leadership of a criminal mastermind known only as “The Professor” to pull off the biggest heist Korea has ever seen.”
Clearly, the plan will be similar to that of Money Heist, where every detail is taken into account and even errors are calculated, but everything will be located in Korea and that means that we will see a new bank that will be robbed. Outside of that, the series is a remake, which means it could have the same story and the same deaths, although that would be very predictable.
What is clear is that if they want to maintain the element of surprise that was so important in the original series, they are definitely going to have to change their strategy and plans. You have to remember that Korea has created some of the best series of the moment (such as The Silent Sea, Hellbound and My Name, all available on Netflix), so surely they have already thought of a way to turn this around and make it feel new. And it’s not just about locations, the group dynamic could change too. Jun Jong-Seo said that the personalities of these characters will be completely different from their Spanish versions.
When it Premieres?
For now, it is only known that it will arrive soon, but it is believed that it could be between October and December 2022 of this year.
