The writers really have some surprises in store for longtime fans of the franchise. But what does the final fight mean for He-Man, Teela, Man-at-Arms, and the rest of Eternia? We tell you all about the end of Part 2 of The Masters of the Universe!
Teela Becomes The New Witch
While Orko faced Evil-Lyn, Teela made her way to the deeper rooms of Skull Castle, having accepted her long-delayed fate of becoming the Skull Witch. Teela enters the mystical pool known as the Tide of Transformation and sees a vision of her mother, the previous castle witch, Teela-Na, who tells her that she must sacrifice her mortal life to be reborn as a witch.
Teela-Na explained that she had only given up on Teela and her father, Duncan, because fellowship with the Gray Skull Power required leaving her old life behind. Teela rejected this reasoning, saying that she would find her own way to be the Witch and do the job her way.
“The witch doesn’t have to let go of her ties to be strong,” Teela proclaims, insisting that her ties to family and friends have made her stronger and not weaker, a feeling in agreement. with the optimism of the original He-Man cartoons. Teela also stated that she would not just protect Grayskull’s power, but “use that power to protect all of Eternia.”
Masters Of The Universe Revelation Part 2 Ending Explained
The end of Masters of the Universe Part 2 picks up a thread that had been ignored for most of Part 2, revealing the fate of the cult of technology established by Tri-Klops. Skeletor faced off against the cult at their base of operations on Snake Mountain, blaming his former followers for his failure to defeat He-Man in a comedy-typical whiny groan involving Skeletor in the classic animated series.
Skeletor then attempts to destroy Motherboard, the strange cult worshiped idol. Motherboard resists Skeletor’s magic and transforms from a great hawk to a winged woman as cultists overpower Skeletor and keep him lying down as sons come out of Motherboard and inject themselves into Skeletor’s flesh. As Skeletor struggled and began to transform into a cyborg like the other cultists connected to Motherboard, a panel moved away from Motherboard’s helmet, projecting a hologram of the Evil Horde emblem and Hordak’s face.
This suggests that Hordak will be the main villain in the next season of Masters of the Universe. It also establishes a connection between the cyborg cultists and Hordak, who has shown similar powers of techno-modification. And also opens up the possibility that He-Man’s sister Adora, who fought Hordak for control of the planet Etheria in his own She-Ra series on Netflix, will appear in Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 3.
