Manifest Season 4: What Is The Premiere Date Of The Fourth Season On Netflix?

Manifest Season 4 is very close to arriving on the Netflix platform with its long-awaited fourth season, which will end the story of the passengers on flight 828. Fans of fiction have long waited for the final installment to arrive after production was canceled by NBC in 2021 after three seasons on the network. The news, in addition to being unexpected, caused fans to mobilize through social networks so that the fiction was chosen by another platform for one more cycle.

Manifest Season 4

Fortunately for fans of the series starring Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh, Netflix announced its renewal for one more season on August 28, 2021, coincidentally the same number as flight 828. The series tells the story of a group of people whose lives unexpectedly come together after they board Montego Air Flight 828 from Jamaica to New York. Unexpectedly, when landing, the passengers find out that 5 years have passed and that they were all declared dead, even though for them only 3 hours passed. The new season will have a two-year time jump that will show how the Stone family continues to deal with the death of Grace, who was killed at the end of the third season.

The Plot Of Manifest Season 4

No details regarding the plot of Manifest 4 have been released at the moment, but another time jump will likely occur. This will allow the series to move closer to the death date of the passengers on Flight 828, which is regarded as the natural “endpoint” of the show. Season 4 of Manifest is sure to address the aftermath of Grace’s “supposed” death, what Angelina did with Olive and Eden, and Cal’s sudden growth. Meanwhile, Ben, struck by the enormous family tragedy, will have to manage to guide the other passengers to figure out how to save their “lifeboat”.

What we know for sure is that the fourth and final season will consist of 20 episodes, a fairly high number compared to other Netflix productions. Manifest was originally supposed to have a story arc that would have unfolded over six seasons. However, according to the creator of the show Jeff Rake, the number of episodes of Manifest 4 will be sufficient to end the plot in the best possible way. These are the words of the creator released in an interview with Entertainment Weekly: “The good news is that I’m confident that 20 episodes will give me enough time to tell the whole story the way I’ve always wanted. I have a roadmap with a series of twists to tell the core stories within our mythology and our relationship drama. So it won’t be a very difficult exercise to superimpose the same 20-episode roadmap. It will be quite organic”.

The Cast Of Actors Manifest

The cast of Manifest Season 4 will see the return of nearly all of the show’s main characters. Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, Parveen Kaur and JR Ramirez (Jared) will all return to their respective starring roles. It is also known that Matt Long will resume playing Zeke, while Ty Doran will return to play the teenage version of Cal. Fans should also expect to see Luna Blaise again as Olive Stone, Holly Taylor as Angelina Meyer, Frank Deal as Captain Daly, and Daryl Edward as Robert Vance. According to some indiscretions then, Manifest 4 could also bring back in the cast some of the protagonists of the past seasons.

Manifest Season 4 Release Date

Manifest Season 4 will hit the screens on November 4, the date the passengers finally returned home. Fans of the show will therefore have to wait even longer before seeing the new episodes. Finally, Netflix could decide to apply the two-part release strategy and for this reason Manifest Season 4 could debut on the platform at the end of 2022, with the remaining 10 episodes arriving instead in the spring of 2023.
