Mai Series: Netflix Announces The Release Date of Sakshi Tanwar Here Is The Official Trailer

Mai, is an upcoming web series produced by Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Sharma’s Clean Slate Films, was announced in July 2019. In it, following a personal tragedy, Sheel (Tanwar), a docile 47-year-old wife-and-mother finds herself accidentally entangled in a web of white-collar crime and dirty politics pushing her into a rabbit hole of violence that forever changes her and the world she inhabits. Wamiqa Gabbi, Vivek Mushran, Prashant Narayanan, Raima Dev Varma, and Seema Pahwa are also part of Netflix’s Mai’s cast. Atul Mongia is the showrunner, director, and writer, alongside director Anshai Lal and writers Amita Vyas and Tamal Kumar Sen.

Mai tells the story of a docile middle-aged spouse and mom, Sheel who finds herself suddenly sucked right into a rabbit hole of violence and energy when she by chance kills a notorious mafia chief. As her cult grows, she is pulled further into the criminal and political underworld.

Mai Series Release Date

Mai has already creating good amount of buzz after the official announcement of the release date. Mai is all set to release on Netflix on 15 April 2022. We simply expect the fans of Sakshi Tanwar do not have to attend any longer to see her again.
