So we had some very ambitious foundations. Lupin is definitely the size needed to move forward with new seasons, if necessary.”

At the end of Lupin Season 3, we see Assane turn himself in to the police and choose to end up in prison to leave his family free to live without the burden of being a fugitive. So, Diop is in his cell reading his Lupin books when he receives a message from his neighbor that he is none other than Hubert Pellegrini, making him understand that he is behind everything that happened to him and that some of his loved ones, in reality, would betray him. So, Lupin Season 4 could start right here, from the mystery of Pellegrini that Assane will have to solve from behind bars, even if we are sure that a way out of prison would indeed be found.
