Loki Season 2: Official Poster and Release Date Revealed By Marvel Studios
Marvel Studios has released the first poster for Loki Season 2, which is the second season of the Loki series, and on this, we can find what could be different variations of the God of Mischief running in circles on a stopwatch that is none other than Miss Minutes. The poster itself doesn’t reveal much beyond that, although the ones featured all look like costumes, we’ve seen worn in the series to the Loki variant of Earth-616. One could even be the one he wore in the post-credit scene of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Regardless, the poster communicates a real race against time, which Loki will have to undertake to save the day. With the poster also begins the countdown of 100,000 minutes that separates us from the return of Loki on Disney+. We’ve heard rumblings that a trailer will be released soon, possibly as early as the next few days. Waiting to be able to see it and find out what this will reveal more about the series, here is the post of the official Loki account on X (ex-Twitter), which reveals the poster:
What is Loki Season 2 About?
Marvel Studios fan-favorite Tom Hiddleston stars in Loki Season 2, returning as the God of Mischief for another round of time-travel woes, airing on Disney+ on October 6, 2023. Loki is once again joined by Mobius (Owen Wilson) as the two try to keep the timelines intact. After the events of Season 1 saw his Dilui variant Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) kill the One Who Remains and unleash the wrath of Kang the Conqueror upon the Multiverse, Loki must once again embark on an adventure to prevent reality from collapsing. We last saw Loki in the post-credit scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, where he and Mobius kept tabs on one of Kang’s mysterious variants. Loki Season 2 will continue the story of the Multiverse Saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Loki Season 2: The Story Plot
At the moment we are not yet given more details of what the story will be, but we do know that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will have to fix all the disasters caused in the season finale by Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) and that unleashed the entire multiverse would suffer the consequences. Finally, as we saw in one of the post-credit scenes of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, the God of Lies is looking for all the variants of the One Who Remains and most likely will have to face the feared Kang the Conqueror. The series at the moment has not yet presented an official trailer, but it is expected that we will soon be able to see the first preview and it is rumored on social networks that it could arrive on August 1. With this trailer, we would see for the first time Tom Hiddleston playing Loki again in a new stage of the UCM after all the events that have occurred in recent times. Although, as we well know, the series is usually quite timeless, since the only thing we know is that it takes place after the events that occurred in Avengers: Endgame.
