Story and Review

Irul is the story of a rainy night. It did full justice to the name of the movie. No other name is suitable for this film except Irul. The film has three characters who will keep the audience on their toes for an hour and a half. The film as a whole is a psycho dark crime thriller.

Fahad Fazil, Saubin Shaheer and Darshana Rajan are the only characters in the film. There is no better pottery than this. The movie was a game of not knowing who the killer was until the very end. From the very beginning, there are many conversations in the film where one can guess that no one is a killer. Audiences are confused when it comes to suspicious evidence. Director Naseef Yusuf Isuddin used Sunil Yadav’s script very clearly.

The story of serial killers has been portrayed in movies in many ways. But what sets Irul apart from other films is the horror of all the murders committed overnight. This is because of the presentation and the manner in which it is adopted.

Jomon T. John’s cinematography was about understanding the audience and the director even in a dark background. Shameer Mohammad understood the depth of the film and put the scissors. The background music of Srirag Saji also gives strength to the film. The film is produced by Anto Joseph, Jomon T John and Shameer Mohammad under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company.

While there is no negativity in the presentation, acting or story of the film, Irul, like any other film, has some shortcomings. As mentioned earlier, the predictable climax is one of the shortcomings of the film. Even when it is said that Perfect is a crime thriller, the audience still leaves that feeling in some places. Maybe if Irul was a theatrical release film the audience would definitely have had a better experience.

Star Performance

Fahadh’s stranger is a character that undergoes the maximum change in shades, and the actor does that with ease that only he’s able to. Darshana’s Archana is the viewer in right here. It’s her perspective we’re watching this movie from and she or he is as clueless and confused as we’re. She manages to being the right thrills and questions now we have and emotes them in essentially the most good approach.

Soubin Shahir although manages to be his superb self in the scenes he’s on the high note. The low ones limit him, virtually trying like he’s caught. Each single time the three start speaking within the single frame, I used to be ready for magic, and it occurred majority of the occasions.

Direction

To decide on such a topic to make a debut with is director Naseef Yusuf Izuddin’s bravery. It isn’t simple to grasp a suspense thriller that’s so crisp and isolated. There are simply three characters that to in isolation of a mansion. The main focus is at all times on the pivotal with out the freedom of shifting them on the supporting for breathers. Naseef manages to do an incredible job at this.

The Verdict

Irul means darkness, and the team manages to drive the point residence pretty nicely. If you’re an viewers for murder mysteries also doubling up as psychological thrillers, this one is your sport. And as mentioned, Fahadh, Darshana and Soubin are already causes sufficient. Predictability will maintain you again, however you may give this one an opportunity.
