What is The Story About?
The whole story of this series is set in Rajahmundry backdrop. When it comes to the story, Ayyappa (Posani Krishna Murali), who makes B-grade films, falls in love with Meena (Nandini Roy) who comes to act in a B-grade film and marries her. Fakir, on the other hand, who is doing hawala work, urgently sends some money to Ayyappa to hide. However, due to the age gap between Ayyappa and Meena, Meena falls in love with a young man named Thomas who lives near her house. Adi (Priyadarshi) on the other hand works as a car driver and tries to get a resort forever. But Ayyappa accidentally sees Thomas Meena while they are together and kills the two. Unexpectedly Meena confronts and kills Ayyappa and puts Adi in charge of the murder. But what happened to the five crores brought by Ayyappa? How did it get out of this case? What happened to Meena? What happened to the five coats in the end? Is to know by looking at the series.
The Review and Analysis
In Telugu it can be said that this is a bold attempt. Carrying suspense in many respects since the beginning of the series. However, it can be said that the introduction of the characters took a long time. The director is trying to create this series with 6 episodes with many twists. The director was careful to have something interesting in each episode. It can be said that the series managed to arouse some interest in the audience from the beginning to the end.
Although this was the director’s first attempt, the director was careful not to look like he was directing somewhere for the first time. The first 2 episodes tell the audience what the real story is. However, the main minus point to the web series is the whores used in this series. One word out of every two is immersed in whores as to whether or not digital has a sensor anyway.
It brought the notion that whores were stuffed rather than stuffed with whores even where they were not needed. Certainly not a series that can be watched with family at home. Also why did you create some characters? Why insert? Does not understand. The whole story revolves around Rs 5 crore but no one but the director knows what that money is. Maybe a sequel is being planned for it. But the story revolves around five crore rupees of money. But they were unable to subject the audience to suspense in that regard.
The camera work is particularly impressive in this series. Varun’s grip on camera is reflected in many scenes in the series. Some dark scenes, as well as drone shorts also brought richness to the film. However, the background music for the series is like a crime or thriller. The series feels a bit poor due to the lack of proper background music, even where it can take the series to another level. Saying that it was a web series certainly seemed to do some of the unnecessary scenes with the idea of giving it a few episodes.
In The Name of God Review: The Performances
All the actors who starred in the series gave life to their respective roles. Most importantly, Priyadarshi, who played the role of Adi, lived by acting. He looks like a young man with a strong desire to settle down in life while on the other hand he plays a character who is willing to do anything for money. Somehow this series may not have been so successful if it had been done by an actor other than Priyadarshi. And as always, Posani Krishnamurali impressed in his role. Nandini Roy also impressed everyone by playing the lead actress. As well as Mohammad Ali Beg, Vikas, Kancharapalem Umamaheswararao, if you will say so, everyone will be caught up in their roles.
In The Name of God Review: The Last Words
While many expected that a bold web series was coming in Telugu, this web series did not live up to those expectations. It has to be said that the point the director intended was good but failed to bring it to the front of the audience in the right way. Actor Priyadarshi and Nandini Roy both seemed to have kind of run the whole series on their hands. With the addition of whores, the series is gaining momentum. This is a must watch series for those who like crime thriller. But another important thing is that it is better not to watch this series while with children.
