I Am Groot: Release Date Revealed On New Poster Here When Series Coming On Disney+
Marvel Studios has released the first poster for I Am Groot, the upcoming Disney+ Original animated series. The poster confirms that I Am Groot will debut on the streaming service on August 10. As the title suggests, the cartoon highlights Groot, the behemoth of the Guardians of the Galaxy, in its “Baby Groot ” form. The series consists of short films that see Baby Groot getting in and out of trouble in a world of photorealistic animation. Vin Diesel returns to voice Groot and Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn is one of the show’s executive producers.
Although Groot is the only confirmed character to appear in I Am Groot, the storyboard suggests that another of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Drax, may appear in the shorts. Drax previously appeared in Marvel Studios’ first animated series, Marvel’s What If…? Although Fred Tatasciore provided the voice for him in place of Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista.
I Am Groot Is Built Entirely With A Photorealistic Type Of Animation
Either way, we’ve finally found out when I Am Groot is coming to Disney+! In the last few hours, an update has been published on the Marvel Entertainment Twitter page which, in addition to showing a nice image depicting Groot enjoying his summer holidays with sunglasses, music (strictly from the Star-Lord walkman) with strange aliens to keep him company, he also reveals that the show will arrive precisely on August 10 on the aforementioned streaming platform. After Ms. Marvel, then (arriving on June 8), the work on the ironic space superhero is the next series to arrive, interspersed with the release of Thor: Love and Thunder on July 6.
