Heart of Stone: Alia Bhatt Will Join Gal Gadot And Jamie Dornan in Netflix Spy Thriller
Bollywood star Alia Bhatt will star with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the new Netflix project, Heart of Stone. The “international spy thriller” is a Netflix/Skydance collaboration. Tom Harper will direct the film from a screenplay written by Greg Rucka (The Old Guard) and Allison Schroeder (The Right to Count, Return to the 100 Acre Wood). The Netflix spy movie will be produced by Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger with Mockingbird’s Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn. Additionally, Gal Gadot will also handle production through his production company, Pilot Wave.

Gal Gadot who recently appeared in Kenneth Branagh ‘s new investigation of Hercule Poirot, Death On The Nile, announced the start of filming on Heart of Stone via her Instagram account. Heart of Stone became a priority for Netflix following the acquisition of the rights in January 2021. Skydance had packaged this new project to bring it to market. The film had several claimants vying for the rights, mostly streaming platforms (Prime Video and Apple TV+ above all). Alia Bhatt is one of the biggest Indian stars. Her most recent film, Gangubai Kathiawadi, premiered at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival on February 16, 2022. Heart of Stone, now, doesn’t have a release date.
