Hawkeye Series: Release Date and Cast Everything We Know About The New Disney Plus series

Hawkeye like Black Widow, had been ignored by Marvel , in the sense that he was one of the few Avengers who did not have their own movie. That was mainly because he was not exactly the most important of the group, but little by little he was proving his value and now he is one of those who will have his own series on Disney Plus.

With the arrival of the Disney platform, Marvel discovered that there was a lot of potential in the series, where they could tell the stories of their characters in more detail. The first of the series was Wanda Vision, which featured an ending that connects directly to the Doctor Strange sequel and opens up the possibility of exploring alternate realities in which characters who have died can return. In second place we had Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and finally the Loki series, where we saw Tom Hiddleston get to know its vairants and explain a little more about the way the timeline works and the alternate realities that emerge from it.

Hawkeye Series

According to Variety, the series will show Clint Barton passing the torch from Hawkeye to Kate Bishop, who is a key character in Young Avengers and could be part of a movie with Billy and Tommy Maximoff. There are not many details about it yet, but, taking into account that the series connects with the MCU films and that Hawkeye could have Florence Pugh (the new Black Widow) to its cast, we can assume that the connections between stories and universes they are going to play an important role here as well.

Hawkeye Series: The Trailer

Yes, the trailer confirms it, Hawkeye will be a Christmas series, where Clint and Kate meet “by accident” (while she was working as a vigilante in the streets of the city), and he decides to start training her so that she can develop her skills as goalkeeper.

Hawkeye Series: Cast

Hawkeye is in development and there is no breakthrough yet, but Marvel has already confirmed the actors that they will join the cast of the series. Jerey Renner will reprise her role as Clint Barton, in addition to Hailey Stainfeld already being cast as Kate Bishop, Vera Farmiga has just been confirmed as Kate’s mother, Florence Pugh will appear as Yelena Belova (which leads us to think that there will be some connection to Black Widow in the future), and Fra Free, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, and Alaqua Cox round out the main cast, though their characters are not yet known.

When it Premieres? Release Date

Marvel announced the series in 2019 and now it has finally been confirmed that we will be able to see it on Disney + on Wednesday, November 24 2021, with a new episode every week.

What is it About?

The new series will have to deal with Clint’s decision to ditch the Hawkeye suit to pass the torch to a new heroine. It seems that the series will be based on the comics by Matt Fraction, David Aja and Javier Pulido, with a story that mainly follows Clint Barton in the moments he spends away from the Avengers, in the comics they describe him as a guy with bad luck and battered for life, but always helping to keep his neighborhood safe, taking part in little missions, and getting a few taunts from Kate Bishop herself.

Beyond that, the series could also deal with the trauma of Endgame and losing Black Widow that way, but it could really take it in any direction, so we’ll have to wait for Marvel to reveal more details to be sure of what. what is going to happen with Clint and Kate.

The end of Black Widow showed a scene that connects Yelena Belova with the series, Countess Valentina tells Yelena that Clint is the culprit of Natasha’s death, which suggests that we could see Florence Pugh in the new series.
