The trailer of the PUBG film titled PUBG – Ground Of Honor: Rondo a movie with Squid Games actor out now. A new phase for PUBG BATTLEGROUNDS of KRAFTON begins today, December 6th with Update 27.1, allowing players to dive into. RONDO launches today for PC players and on December 14th for console players, the tenth map of the game. RONDO, also known as Ground of Honor, is the brand new 8×8 map that boasts the largest playable area of any map released to date. This vast map is divided into two distinct regions, each offering a unique atmosphere that combines familiar gameplay and innovative strategic approaches. RONDO introduces a new narrative and expands choices within the core elements of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS – LAND, LOOT, SURVIVE. With its new features and new content, it offers a dynamic and engaging gaming experience with every game.

RONDO stands out in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS for its variety of terrain, from serene lakes and bamboo groves in the southwest to distinct ridges in the northeast. Notable areas such as the verdant beauty of Yu Lin Village, the waterfall-filled landscape of Tin Long Garden, and the riverside architecture of Mey Ran offer various strategic options. The skyscrapers and neon-lit streets of Jadena City promise intense urban battles, while the NEOX Factory introduces unique combat scenarios. Additional areas such as Rin Jiang, Jao Tin, and the Stadium present their challenges. Innovative map features include destructible bamboo, for additional tactical depth, and an additional launch plane for additional landing options. RONDO also presents the JS9, a 9mm submachine gun (SMG) ideal for close combat.
KRAFTON also launched the official RONDO live-action movie, PUBG | GROUND OF HONOR: RONDO by Sam Hargrave, the director of Extraction and Extraction 2, with Daniel Wu (The Man with the Iron Fists, Tomb Raider, Reminiscence) and Lee Jung-Jae (Squid Game). Daniel Wu plays the role of Alpha, who fights for the survival of the entire team, while Lee Jung-Jae plays Beta, seeking revenge for his brother’s death at the hands of the Alpha team. This short film vividly depicts the essence of the new map through an intense clash between two formidable opponents.
To commemorate the release of RONDO, the new Survivor Pass: RONDO is now arriving. With this update, the reward system has been revamped, introducing various new rewards including G-COINs, Blueprints, Survivor Chests, and Craftsman Tokens to the Survivor Pass rewards. New items in collaboration with actor Daniel Wu and Lee Jung-Jae, as Alpha and Beta in RONDO, will be available for PC players until March 6, 2024, and for console players until March 14, 2024.
