The mask allows a person to appear the way they want to be seen. And it seems Blanca’s soul subconsciously wants to be like her. Eventually, the man sacrifices himself and transforms into one of the ethereal beings so that Verta can leave Asura City.

At the end of Green Snake, Verta collects the pieces of her sister’s hairpin from the museum which is located where Fahai’s tower was. When she places the human flute bone among the pieces, the hairpin becomes whole again, indicating to her that the masked man is a reincarnation of Blanca.

Yes, Verta finds Blanca. At the end of Green Snake , a female voice greets Verta. When she turns around, her eyes light up. Through tears of joy, she greets the last reincarnation of her sister. Just as Verta’s obsession is Blanca, so the latter’s obsession is Verta. Blanca has spent several lifetimes searching for her sister. And now they can be together again.

Verta defeated Fahai and brought down his tower. She faced him relentlessly for 20 years, losing all of their battles except the last. Whenever she loses, Fahai sends her back to Asuraville. But she immediately returns to confront him again. Meanwhile, the man who looks like Blanca keeps the ethereal monsters and the rest at bay. When she finally wins, Verta returns to Asuraville of her own free will. His victory and the subsequent destruction of the tower likely frees Blanca. After leaving Asuraville for good, Verta discovers that a new tower has been erected. And it has a museum with all the treasures found there.
