Actress Taapsee Pannu and writer-producer Kanika Dhillon are coming together again for a new feature film, “Gandhari.” Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu and writer Kanika Dhillon’s previous release was Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. Which got rave reviews from critics and fans. Now the pair is set to rock again with an action thriller. Recently, Kanika announced her new film with the streaming platform Netflix. Whose title is Gandhari, in which Taapsee Pannu is going to play the lead role.
Streaming platform Netflix on Tuesday announced that Bollywood star Taapsee Pannu and writer-filmmaker Kanika Dhillon have announced the film ‘Gandhari.’ Before this, both of them had worked together on Haseen Dillruba (2021) and its sequel, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, which got a lot of love from the audience and was also appreciated by critics. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba was released on Netflix on August 9. The first glimpse of the film shows Gandhari, an action thriller depicting deep love between mother and child.

In the announcement video, Taapsee can be heard saying, ‘It is said that a mother’s prayers always go with her, but when it comes to her child, Kali also becomes the same.’ It suggests movies about a mother and child’s deep love and relationship. But since it’s an action thriller, it’s hard to guess what the twist will be in the film right now. This film will be directed by Devashish Makhija, who has also produced Manoj Bajpayee’s Bhonsle and Joram. Talking about the film, Kanika said, “Don’t mess with the baby tigress, because she will destroy you! Taapsee and I are coming together for the first time for a raw-action thriller! And we’re excited to bring this powerful story in turn.
