Apple TV+ today presented the first teaser of Foundation Season 3, its epic adaptation of the award-winning stories of Isaac Asimov, developed by David S. Goyer. The series returns on July 11 with the first episode’s release, followed by a new chapter every Friday until the delivery closes on September 12. Foundation Season 3: The Plot

Foundation Season 3, the epic chronicle of a group of exiles, continues on their journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. Set 152 years after the events of the second season, the Foundation has established itself far beyond its humble origins, while the Empire of the Cleonic Dynasty has lost power. While these two galactic powers make an uncomfortable alliance, a threat to the entire galaxy presents itself in the fearsome form of a warlord known as “The Mule”, whose goal is to govern the universe with the use of physical force and military, as well as with mind control. Who will win, who will lose, who will live, and who will die is not known, while Hari Seldon, Gaal Dornick, Cleon, and Demerzel play a potentially deadly intergalactic chess game.

The third season of the show, with stars Jared Harris and Lee Pace, will be set 152 years after the events shown in the second. The Foundation has consolidated far beyond its humble origins, while the Empire of the Cleonic Dynasty has run out. Both galactic powers decide to make a difficult alliance, but a threat to the entire galaxy appears in the form of a warlord known as ‘The Mule’, whose goal is to dominate the universe using physical and military force, in addition to mind control. The Cast of Foundation Season 3

Alongside Jared Harris, Lee Pace, and Lou Llobell, the Foundation’s third season cast introduces new characters and stars, including Emmy-winning Cherry Jones, Brandon P. Bell, Synnøve Karlsen, Cody Fern, Tómas Lemarquis, Alexander Siddig, Oscar winner Troy Kotsur, and Pilou Asbæk. The series also sees the return of the cast of Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Terrence Mann, and Rowena King.

When Foundation Season 3 Release Date
