In season two, set over a century after the season one finale (our review here), tensions are running high across the galaxy. As the Cleons dissolve, a vengeful queen plots to destroy the Empire from within. Hari, Gaal, and Salvor discover a colony of Mentalics with psychic abilities that threaten to alter psychohistory itself. The Foundation entered its religious phase, promulgated the Church of Seldon throughout the Outer Reach, and caused the Second Crisis: War with the Empire. The monumental adaptation of “Foundation” tells the stories of four individuals who transcend space and time as they navigate deadly crises, shifting loyalties, and complicated relationships that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.
