Foundation Season 2: All About Season 2 of The Best Science Fiction Series

Foundation is one of the best science fiction series today. The series is based on the Isaac Asimov series of novels and features a great cast made up of legendary actors and new faces, who help tell a story that takes place in space and the future far away from us. The first season began when Gaal Dornick, a woman who comes from a planet formed by water and inhabited by a very strict religious group, manages to decipher a mathematical equation that proves the theory of a man who is convinced that the end of the most powerful empire of the universe is on the way.

That empire is ruled by an emperor who clones himself to stay in power for centuries, and this discovery represents a huge problem for his empire, so he decides to banish the expert and all his followers, sending them to a distant planet where they must do whatever they can to stop the destruction they predicted, and everything spirals out of control from there. Foundation presents themes such as the need to transcend, the possibility of predicting the future, the step of leaving a legacy and saving humanity, and it not only has a great story, but it also has great visual effects and scenarios that Asimov and any sci-fi fan would be proud.

How Did Foundation Season 1 End?

After banishing Hari, Gaal, and the rest of their followers to a distant planet, the Emperor goes on his spiritual journey to try and prove to his opponents that he does have a soul and deserves to continue as the ultimate ruler of the universe. While this is happening, Gaal wakes up in space and finds out what happened to Hari, who was killed before reaching his destination, and what plans he has for her. Salvor Hardin, for her part, discovers more secrets about the mysterious monolith that lies at the center of the planet, while Gaal heads to that place, without the others knowing that she is alive. On the other side of the universe, the emperor is preparing for a war that could trigger the destruction of the empire and marks the beginning of what is known as the Second Crisis.
