John Walker, New Status Of Us Agent & Valentina

In this latest episode, John Walker launches into battle with all the ardor one would normally expect from a temporary government Captain America, but he quickly changes gears. If he has the option of killing Karli and avenging Lemar, or saving a group of hostages, Walker opts for the second solution. By teaming up with Sam and Bucky, Walker seems to have come back to light. While he may still have a bleak future, now that he’s working for Valentina under a new code name and uniform: US Agent, just like in the comics.

Concerning Valentina, we know very little yet. She expresses her joy after learning that Zemo killed the last Flag Smashers. She also hints that she played a role in their deaths and that she may have some sort of arrangement with Zemo. Comic book fans are familiar with the character’s history and immediately recognize Valentina as a version of Madame Hydra. Her closeness to Walker and Zemo indicates that she will play a key role in building a team of anti-heroic / violent superheroes. We will know more soon!
