Enola Holmes 2: Here Is The Trailer Of The Film With Millie Bobbie Brown Coming On Netflix
The official trailer of Enola Holmes 2 was released at Tudum 2022, a global virtual event in which Netflix will present many news on its upcoming films and TV series. The film, which will arrive on Netflix on November 4, 2022, will see Millie Bobbie Brown return to play the role of Enola Holmes, the younger sister of Mycroft and Sherlock Holmes, played respectively by Sam Clafin and Adeel Akhtar.
The original Enola Holmes, based on the first novel in Nancy Springer’s young adult series of the same name, featured Brown as the younger sister of famed detective Sherlock Holmes, played by Cavill. The film, which follows Enola in an attempt to solve her mother’s disappearance, also stars Sam Claflin as brother Mycroft and Helena Bonham Carter as mother Eudoria, as well as an ensemble cast that includes Louis Partridge, Adeel Akhtar, Susie Wokoma and Harry Potter alum Fiona Shaw.

The Enola Holmes sequel will see the young protagonist face her first official case after becoming a hired detective like her brother Sherlock, following the events of the first film. However, her search to find a missing girl ends up unraveling a dangerous conspiracy and mystery that will require the help of her friends and Sherlock himself. In addition to Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, the new film brings back Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Adeel Akhtar as Lestrade and Susan Wokoma as Edith. Director Harry Bradbeer and screenwriter Jack Thorne have also been confirmed for Enola Holmes 2, also starring David Thewlis, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss.
Like the first film, the sequel will be inspired by Nancy Springer’s book series and will therefore be based on the second book in the series, The Case of the Left-Handed Lady, in which Enola tries to find Lady Cecily Alistair. Given the choices made for the first film, one should not expect a direct adaptation of the book but, rather, only some links with the source material. Enola Holmes 2 will arrive on Netflix on November 4, 2022.
