Created by Darren Star – former producer of Beverly Hills 90210 and Sex and The City – Emily in Paris 2 is set in Paris, a city that is presented to us through the eyes of the protagonist: Emily Cooper played by Lily Collins. When her boss, Madeline Wheeler (Kate Walsh), finds out she is pregnant, she unexpectedly moves from Chicago to Paris for work, where she is expected to stay for a year. The Plot Of Emily In Paris 2
During Emily season 1 in Paris, Emily falls in love with her neighbor, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) who doesn’t know how to be the boyfriend of her new friend Camille (Camille Razat). Nothing happens between the two – apart from a couple of stolen kisses – until he leaves his girlfriend to return to Normandy and finally open a restaurant of his own.
Free from ties, Emily and Gabriel then let themselves go the night before his departure, but then Antoine Lambert (William Abadie) a client of the company where the girl works, decides to finance Gabriel’s dream by allowing him to buy the Parisian restaurant where he works as a chef. Happy to be able to stay for Emily too, Gabriel has no plans to go back with Camille, but Emily feels guilty about what happened and tries to reconcile the couple.
Unfortunately, however, the girl discovers that the two have been in bed together and breaks off relations with both (to, later, change her mind and forgive them or so it seems!). Meanwhile, Emily’s US boss Madeline arrives in Paris where she clashes several times with Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) head of the French office who, initially, did not feel sympathy for Emily but now seems to appreciate her much more.

In the season finale of Emily in Paris 2, 2×10 French Revolution, Madeline notices that Savoir’s financial situation has something wrong and it seems that, from Chicago, they want to review the Parisian staff. Feeling threatened from a business point of view, Sylvie decides to sell her part of the place she has in Saint-Tropez with her husband and thus start her own marketing company. All this while the high fashion designer Pierre Cadault (Jean-Christophe Bouvet), Savoir’s most important client, decides not to be represented by the agency anymore.
Just as Emily tries to understand for her what will happen from a working point of view, Alfie warns her that she must return to London because her Parisian work project has come to an end: the couple decides, therefore, to try to have a long-distance relationship.
Meanwhile, Sylvie invites Emily to lunch and offers her a job in her new agency, because she now considers her the best in her field: on board, there are already her French colleagues Julien (Samuel Arnold) and Luc (Bruno Gouery) as well as Cadault himself and his rival Gregory Elliott Dupree (Jeremy O. Harris) as clients.
Accepting the job, for her, would mean staying in Paris indefinitely. As she reflects on what to do talking to Mindy (Ashley Park) she realizes she is in love with Gabriel: her best friend – the first she had in Paris – advises her to decide based on what is best for her, without continuing. to think about what it is for others, otherwise he will never be happy. Just when she decides to reveal her true feelings to Gabriel, Emily discovers that the boy has asked Camille to move in with him and runs away in shock. What To Expect From Emily In Paris Season 3? What We Know So Far
Emily’s ending in Paris 2 obviously leaves many unanswered questions: Emily has finally figured out what she wants in her life, but the timing isn’t the best. The choices that Emily can make are, of course, two: she can accept Sylvie’s job, stay in Paris and finally fight for Gabriel’s love by putting herself first, for once, or feel defeated and reject, returning to Chicago with Madeline and getting the promotion she worked for.
