Elite Season 5 Ending Explained: Is Samuel Dead? Who Killed Samuel? Is Benjamin Really Killed Samuel?
Elite Season 5 finally arrived Las Encinas school reopens its doors on Netflix. A new season, a new course, new students, but everything remains the same. Since it was released in 2018, Elite has managed to maintain interest in its stories without the need to change anything or evolve, simply repeating the same formula repeatedly: a mysterious death, glamorous and wild parties, class struggle, love teen and high doses of sex and nudity. The fifth season of the series, which premieres on April 8 on Netflix, returns with the same ingredients as always. Some of those ingredients that you repeat later, but you can’t stop savoring them out of sheer gluttony. A full-fledged guilty pleasure that continues to offer what is expected: good marrachismo.
Elite Season 5 Summary and Recap
Before we see how Elite season 5 ends and what happens in the finale, let’s quickly summarize what happened over the course of the episodes. The fifth chapter pretty much picks up where we left off. Another semester has begun in Las Encinas. The school welcomed new students, including Isadora, a lover of parties and excess, and Ivan, the son of a famous Brazilian footballer.
Despite the news, the drama of the previous season continues to hover in the air, which involved in a particular way the Blanco family and then Samuel and Rebeka. For everyone, apart from the latter two, Armando is gone forever, but in reality he is at the bottom of the lake. Meanwhile, the rules are changing in Las Encinas. Bejamin exponentially increases surveillance and introduces new rules.
Phillipe is busy restoring his reputation after a video of the girl he raped is shown at a party, in which he officially accuses him. At his side, regardless of everything, Cayetana remains and the newcomer Isadora is added. A certain competition also arises between the two, but in the end they manage to understand each other in some way.
Patrick and Ari, on the other hand, get very close to Ivan . The latter declares him straight, but sends ambiguous messages to Patrick, until he admits that he has an interest in both brothers. In an already complicated situation, Ivan’s father also intervenes and seems to be starting to feel something for Patrick. Ari, despite being officially with Samuel, feels neglected, as the boy seems more interested in working at the club and not disappointing Benjamin, who places a lot of faith in him. For this reason, the young woman ends up consoling herself with Ivan, behind her boyfriend.
Samuel is actually going through a rather complicated time. Not only does she feel a lot of pressure, but his friendship with Omar starts to creak as Bilal enters the roommate’s life. The latter is a young man of French origin who lives in very bad conditions. He doesn’t have a home or even a job. In this way, Omar offers to help him.
The Past Comes Back To The Surface
During a charity auction organized at the Club del Lago, Omar now with a more prominent role at the club realizes that there is a body in the water. Worried, he brings it back to shore and at that moment he realizes that it is Armando. Bilal is also with him the latter returns to the party and calls Samuel who joins his friend and tells him the whole truth, along with Rebeka.
The initial idea is to throw the body back into the lake, but Omar manages to convince Samu to call the police. Thus began the investigations. Among the prime suspects is Benjamin, who had a working relationship with Armando. The principal, however, manages to convince Samuel to plead guilty, promising to put his best lawyers at his service and get him out of prison.
However, when it’s time to pay the bail, he decides to wait. Mencia tries to make him think. She also offers him some sort of exchange. The girl, in fact, has discovered that in her cell phone, given to her by the dead, a second sim is hidden, full of documents that could make her father sink forever. He gives it to him, in exchange for the promise that he would get Samuel out. The father does not respect the agreement, but he does not know that the girl made a copy of the card. Ivan takes care of collecting the money for the boy’s bail, with an initiative organized on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. The young man’s father also participates in it.

Samuel is, therefore, free, even if not thanks to Benjamin. Meanwhile, the young man has reached an agreement with the police to investigate the man and collect compromising material. Speaking with Rebe, the latter remembers that Mencia had told her that he had found the famous SIM. The two come up with a plan. Samuel would have had to make peace with Ari to be invited to his house, so that he could have a chance to search for the card. With Cayetana’s help however, they would search the school.
A dinner is organized at the Blanco house, with Samuel and Rebeka as guests. On that occasion, it is the latter that strengthens him and starts looking for the SIM. Mencia, however, surprises her and asks her to leave it alone. Rebe is determined to help Samuel and so she, devastated, doesn’t listen to the girl and takes her card. Caye at school is also caught in the principal’s office and fired, while Samuel takes Rebeka home, pretending to be ill with the Blanco family.
Samuel Is Attacked In The Final Of Elite Season 5
Ari joins her boyfriend at home and asks him not to give the sim to the police. The boy almost changes his mind, but in the end he prefers to listen to Rebe. At the police station, Benjamin calls him to ask for a meeting at his home and the boy accepts. The man offers him free education, maintenance and then a job in his company, in exchange for the sim.
Samuel does not accept. As he leaves, Benjamin tries to take away his backpack the boy falls, hits his head and ends up in the pool. At that moment Patrick returns home and tries to help his partner, calling for help, but his father stops him. Desperate, he calls Ari, who immediately returns home with Mencia and Rebe. Omar joins them too at the Blanco home they find Samuel dying. Mencia calls the police, who arrest Benjamin. This is the final scene, but there is another story to delve into.
Phillipe’s Redemption
In all this, Isadora disappointed by Phillipe, Ivan, who surprised her father and Patrick together, and three other guys from Las Encinas have a great time in Ibiza, where they are then joined by Phillipe himself. Amidst rivers of alcohol and drugs, Isa faints. The three students take advantage of it and also invite Ivan to join them. Back home, no one remembers what happened, except Isadora, who she prefers to deny.
Phillipe, on the other hand, senses that something is wrong and so ask Caye to stay close to the girl. Eventually the young man and Ivan discover through a video that Isadora was raped. They had tried to stop the other three boys, but they were so stoned they passed out. Phillipe talks about it with the girl and manages to convince her to report the incident.
