The most anticipated film Dunki finally arrived in the cinema here we are going to tell you should watch this movie or not. Every young person cherishes the desire to settle abroad. No matter the path, the aim is only to go abroad. Those who have used the services of immigration consultants to go abroad would be familiar with the word ‘Dunki’ but among the general public, there would be a very smaller population who would be familiar with this name. There are two ways to go abroad, one is legal, and the other is illegal which is also called Dunki. The film Dunki, released in theaters on December 21, tells the story of going abroad illegally. The film has been completely successful in conveying the message that any work done illegally is neither beneficial for oneself nor for the family. Rajkumar Hirani and Shahrukh Khan have come together for the first time through this film, and even before its release, the film has set new records in booking.

Before this, Shahrukh Khan’s last two films – Pathaan and Jawan created a stir at the box office. This time director Rajkumar Hirani has brought the story of thousands of people who went abroad and saw a golden dream future, and who went to the borders to fulfill this dream. Let’s cross. After ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, Shahrukh Khan is coming in front of the audience for the third time at the end of this year. But unlike his previous two films, Dunki is an emotional film of Shahrukh, which will make you cry while making you laugh. Hirani has introduced Shahrukh Khan through the lens of his camera. Let us tell you how this film is.

All said and done, Dunki has its share of shortcomings and positives. It’s not the cinematic magic I expected from the duo of Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. I wish the duo work together in the future but with a better story and execution.

The film seems to rely on the charm of Shah Rukh Khan and the spirited performances of Vikram Kocchar, Anil Grover and Boman Irani to carry it through. Dunki’s strength lies in its ability to stir emotions, accentuated by impactful music that resonates deeply. Hirani cleverly uses lyrics and background music to create impactful and strong moments. The film seems to be a concoction of poignant storytelling, humor, and a compelling musical score, inviting audiences into a world where the characters’ experiences resonate powerfully, leaving a lasting impression.

On the whole, Dunki is a hit fare. It will have a reasonably long run at the cinemas as business in the weekends after the initial week or two will be very good on the strength of family and class audience.

In the 161-minute run-time of the Rajkumar Hirani film, I was hard put to find anything that made me feel. Even Shah Rukh Khan’s Hardy comes off as working too hard for not enough pay-off. his vaunted first collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani is mostly a crashing bore

Concluding my review, Dunki is an emotional drama that will surely hit all the right notes. Even though the story seemed a little dragged in some parts, Shah Rukh Khan’s performance takes over everything. It is all about SRK and he demands all the right attention. Whereas Vicky Kaushal also shines in his cameo role and will steal your heart with his strong performance.

Hirani is known to keep things simple. This benefits and in certain ways impacts the film as well. When the film works, it does with great merit, spunk, and surprise. When it does not, it meanders into a trap that is hard to come out of. But in a time when action entertainers and spy films are very much in vogue, Dunki breaks the monotony and comes as a gush of fresh air. It is heartwarming, cheering, and uplifting reminds you, ‘Sab changa hai.’

Dunki might not be Hirani’s best work in comparison to 3 Idiots or PK, but it still entertains and leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feeling as you leave the theatre. Also, what better way to end the year than to have SRK charm you on the silver screen once again
