Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves: Official Movie Poster Unveiled! Here Are Star Cast Details
Dungeons & Dragons are one of the most popular board games of all time. The subject of numerous transpositions, it is back strongly in the limelight thanks to the Stranger Things series – the villains of the show are inspired by those of the game and many of the protagonists love to challenge each other in very long games. So, it’s no wonder that Paramount has ordered the production of a board game-inspired film, titled Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. The film will be officially presented at Comic-Con in San Diego on the first day of the convention, scheduled for today – 21 July. On the web, therefore, some of the promotional materials that will be presented during the panel dedicated to the film have begun to be leaked, including the incredible official poster, which covers the walls of the San Diego Convention Center. The poster shows some famous monsters from the film – in shades of black and red – but offers no glimpse at the large cast of protagonists.

Paramount has decided to aim high with this new transposition of Dungeons & Dragons, hiring many Hollywood stars: Chris Pine – recently seen in the DCEU, where he plays the great love of Wonder Woman, Steve Trevor, Michelle Rodriguez – face of the saga Fast & Furious and Rege Jean-Page – the Duke of Hastings Simon Bassett in Bridgerton. Two equally important names complete the cast: Hugh Grant – in the role of the villain – and Sophia Lillis – known for the role of Beverly Marsh in the saga reboot and the Netflix series I Am Not Okay Whit This.
The film should be set in the Forgotten Realms campaign, one of the most classic D&D settings. Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the film is expected to kick off a franchise – a spin-off series is currently in the works. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is expected to hit theaters on March 3, 2023. Filming officially ended in August.
