D Company Movie Review

Everyone thinks that if a movie is based on a real life story, there will be no big twists in it. Being a pre-known story gives the impression that there may not be a cinematic touch, but after watching this movie it definitely turns out to be wrong. Now Dawood Ibrahim is known to the world but no one knows how his reign began 40 years ago except for the very few who have been with him from the beginning. Varma was able to collect even such small things and show them in this film. How did the Underworld originate in Mumbai? What were gang wars like before that? How were their relations with the police? Such elements are presented in the film with many twists.

Varma, who has been making only controversial films in recent times, has once again made his mark with this film. Varma Mark has been seen in the film from the beginning to the end of the film. Varma’s performance as a director has been seen in many places. Most importantly, Varma’s ability to show even the smallest details about the life of Dawood Ibrahim is a plus for the film. How Dawood Ibrahim got to the level of running a gang starting from scratch was not screened by Varma Miss. Varma seniority appeared in every frame.

Performance of The Cast

When it comes to the cast of the film, both Ashwanth Kant who appeared in Dawood Ibrahim and Rudra Kant who appeared as his brother Sabir impressed the audience with their performances. Naina Ganguly, who played Dawood Ibrahim’s girlfriend Sujata, and Irra More, who also appeared as Sabir’s girlfriend, were impressed with their performance, albeit for a short time. Nicely acted.

The performance of the technical sections of the film is also impressive. Ram Gopal Varma, who narrates the story in particular, has aroused interest in the film. Sagar Machanoor, who acted as the producer, has good production values. The film is narrated by Harish M Kotian along with Ram Gopal Varma. Also the music provided by Paul Praveen was not much impressive but the background score was a plus for the film. Also the Malharbat Joshi cinematography is in Varma style. In some places camera angles are reminiscent of Varma old movies. Varma then changed his voice and sang a song for the film. The film also features the work of Chief Editor Sangha Pratap Kumar. Unnecessary scenes do not appear anywhere in the movie.

Filmyhype Last Words

Everyone interested in the underworld, as well as Varma fans should watch this movie. Varma Mark is not to be missed anywhere and the film goes on interestingly throughout. If not, there are chances that the Telugu people will be a bit confused as they are all unknown faces but the film went on interestingly. Almost everyone looks like a Bollywood actor. Both the heroines have done Telugu movies in the past, so they are introduced to the Telugu people. But the Telugu people could not connect so quickly as all the other actors were Bollywood actors. However, with Varma Mark being the film, the chances of the film being a success are high.
