Clash: Prithviraj Vs Jersey on Diwali 2021 Akshay Vs Shahid

Yashraj Films, the banner of Aditya Chopra, has announced the release date of his 5 stalled films, including Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar, starring Prithviraj is the main one. The film has been produced on a large scale by the Yash Raj Banner and Aditya Chopra has chosen a big festival like Diwali (Diwali 2021) to present it to the audience. With the announcement of the film ‘Prithviraj’, it is confirmed that this Diwali will be a fierce fight between Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Prithviraj’.

Prithviraj and Jersey Release Date

After a several delays of releasing movie due to corona now finally the makers of the films are waiting for their film release. Due to Covid-19 pandemic 2020 were fully ruined for entire film industry. Yesterday Yash Raj films announced the entire lineup of movies under their banner.  Both movies are set to release on 5th November 2021.

Now the shocking and interesting news coming from Bollywood that two biggies Akshay Kumar’s “Prithviraj” and Shahid Kapoor’s “Jersey” are all set to clash on Diwali weekend at box office. Both movies have different audience and plot “Prithviraj” is and historical action drama and “Jersey” is a sports drama movie, and the official remake of telugu film with same name.

Film trade expert Akshay Rathi, while talking with Bollywood Life a few days ago, told that if on a big occasion, two films clash and their story is completely different from each other, then there is no loss. The audience will get two good stories and they can watch both. While ‘Jersey’ is a story built around human emotions, ‘Prithviraj’ is a historical story.
