Cha Cha Real Smooth: First Look Of Film With Dakota Johnson And Cooper Raiff Coming On Apple Tv+

2022 will see the debut of new Apple Original Films from today’s most famous and award-winning authors and creatives. Cha Cha Real Smooth, winner of the 2022 Sundance Film Festival US Dramatic Audience Award, will premiere on Apple TV+ on June 17, 2022. In the film, Cooper Raiff, who is also the screenwriter and director of the project, plays the role of a recent graduate who has returned to live at home with his family. The boy finds work as a party planner for bars and bat mitzvahs and forms a unique friendship with Domino, a young mom, played by Dakota Johnson and her teenage daughter.

Dakota Johnson is back from the great success of Maggie Gyllenhaal ‘s The Lost Daughter. She the actress is the protagonist, together with Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley, of the film based on the novel The dark daughter by Elena Ferrante. The film earned three 2022 Oscar nominations.

In a recent interview with Cinema Cafe, Dakota Johnson talked about the reactions viewers had after watching The Lost Daughter and how important it is to tell about real female characters: “In the cinema, I always see female archetypes that are fully realized and not I identify with those characters and never will. With The Lost Daughter, on the other hand, it was interesting because we got so many comments from women who said to us: ‘Oh my God, thank you for telling this story. Thank you for saying it’s really hard to be a mother, it’s not always beautiful and we don’t always like it. ‘ But it was also interesting to get comments from the men who saw the film and said: ‘Those are the women I recognize. That’s my mother. That’s my partner’
