Blade: Here Is The Release Date Of Mahershala Ali’s MCU Film Coming In 2023

Oscar winner Mahershala Ali will star in the Blade reboot for the character’s debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At Comic-Con Kevin Feige revealed that Blade will be in cinemas at the end of 2023. Ali took the opportunity to comment on the news on his social account by publishing a post. The actor shared the logo of the film accompanied by the emoji of a drop of blood and the writing 2023. Filming on the Blade should begin by the end of the year, and for the moment Ali has debuted in the character only vocally during the closing moments of The Eternals, despite rumors of an appearance of him in Moon Knight.

“I think at the time we were deciphering Moon Knight, they were doing the same with the Blade story and trying to figure out what it was all about. So I think they wanted to keep them apart,” said Jeremy Slater, author of Moon Knight.

One character considered for Moon Knight was Dane Whitman, played by Kit Harington, the one with whom Blade speaks in the post-credit scene. Mahershala Ali inherits a rather uncomfortable role and has already starred in the past in a very popular trilogy, especially among fans.
