Black Mirror Season 6: First Look Images
Black Mirror is an anthology series that taps into society’s collective unease with the modern world. Each episode is its own story, provocative and suspenseful, on topics related to contemporary techno-paranoia. Without a doubt, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives. In every home, on every desk, in every hand, there is a plasma screen, a monitor, or a smartphone: a Black Mirror, a “Black Mirror” which reflects our existence in the twenty-first century. The series was conceived and written by Charlie Brooker, who is also the executive producer along with Annabel Jones. Watch Black Mirror on Netflix.
Black Mirror: Here Is the Teaser Trailer For The Sixth Season
The creator of the series recently expressed himself on the new episodes declaring:
I’ve always felt that Black Mirror should present stories that are completely distinct from each other and still surprise people – and myself – otherwise what’s the point? It has to be a series that can’t be categorized easily, able to reinvent itself. Partly as a challenge, partly to keep the show fresh for both myself and the viewers, I’ve approached this season by deliberately twisting some of the core characteristics of this show.
Many of us have seen the psychological terror generated by the Black Mirror series, which gives us a dark satire on how technology invades our personal and social lives and conditions them. The gloomiest thing about their stories is that over time we have been able to see how the episodes look more and more like reality. On that same side, the production does not stop finding inspiration and a sixth installment is coming soon that will not leave anyone indifferent. As for a solid argument, there are no official details yet. What we do know is that there will be more episodes than the previous installment and that during the early days of COVID, its creator, Charlie Brooke decided to stop for a bit and dedicate himself to working on comedy because he feared that there would be no stomach with the current climate:
“Right now I don’t know what stomach there would be for stories about collapsing societies, so I’m not working on any of that. I’m more inclined to revisit my comedic set, so I’ve been writing scripts focused on making myself laugh .”
Although we do not know the details, recently the actress, Zazie Beetz declared her participation in this new season:
“I wouldn’t say my character is having a lot of fun, but I think there’s a great, ironic, dark element to it, kind of premonition. The mirror reflecting back on us”.
In this new installment, there is a possibility that it will become a good time for Brooke to organize the ideas she had to go back to investigate the stories of ‘White Bear’ and ‘Right Now White’.
