Black Bird: A “Demonic” Serial Killer In The Trailer For The Apple TV Crime Series
The first trailer of Black Bird puts the creeps, but it also raises the hype. If you loved Mindhunter and true crime stories starring serial killers fascinate you, you can’t miss this new Apple series. The trailer of this series has just been released, which combines the psychological thriller with a true-crime: the hunt for the serial killer (or rather, his confession) told in the series is inspired by actual events.

Black Bird Arrives at Apple TV
Black Bird is a 6-episode miniseries, coming to Apple TV+ on July 8, 2022. On this date we will see the first 2 episodes and follow, every week, the rest will arrive, until the final season on August 5th. The story’s protagonist is Jimmy Keene, a young man who knows he will spend the best years of his life in prison. At a certain point, he is presented with a very dangerous way out, which he defines as “a descent into hell to make friends with a demon”.
He will be transferred to a maximum maximum-security that houses psychiatric patients. The reason? Attempting to get a confession from a notorious female serial killer. Authorities suspect he has killed a dozen or more women, but only one body has been found. The prison environment, the hostility of the guards, and the intelligence of the killer will put Jimmy in constant danger.
Playing Jimmy is Taron Egerton (Rocketman) as Jimmy Keene, and Paul Walter Hauser (Richard Jewell) will step into the role of Larry Hall, the serial killer.
