Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 1-2: Ending Explained and Argentine Program Explained?

The new episodes of Better Call Saul 6 were released on Netflix and a scene caught the attention of some Argentine viewers. What is it about?

After a wait of almost two years, this Tuesday the first two episodes of the Better Call Saul Season 6, the Breaking Bad spin-off series, were released on the Netflix streaming platform. As usual today, the debut was quite commented on the different social networks, where a scene in which a well-known Argentine program appeared, which also had its Chilean version, stood out.

Better Call Saul Season 6

The final season follows Jimmy, Saul and Gene, as well as Odenkirk’s character’s complex relationship with Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn), who finds herself in the midst of her own existential crisis. Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando) and Lalo (Tony Dalton) are trapped in a game of cat and mouse with deadly stakes.

What is The Argentine Program?

This is Married with Childrenan adaptation of the original program from the United States, which arrived in the neighboring country in 2005 at the hands of Guillermo Francella, Florencia Peña, Érica Rivas, Marcelo de Bellis, Darío Lopilato and Luisana Lopilato.

It should be remembered that Chile also had its version in 2006 and starred Fernando Larraín, Javiera Contador, Fernando Godoy, Dayana Amigo, Marcial Tagle and Carmen Gloria Bresky.

In What Scene Is It Shown?

The fifth season culminated with Nacho being an accomplice in the attack on Lalo’s house in Mexico, for which he must escape. In the new images we see Michel Mando’s character arriving at a temporary housing complex, where he meets a receptionist who is watching the Argentine version of the well-known program.

Better Call Season 6 Ending Explained

At the end of Better Call Season 6 Episode 2, as they leave the Kettlemans’ business, someone begins following Saul and Kim’s vehicle in their own car. It is possible to assume that it is not Howard. The show wants us to believe it’s Lalo. While Saul has incriminating evidence that shows Fring was involved in bringing Lalo back to Mexico, Lalo doesn’t know. So whoever is following Saul and Kim is probably not him either.

A plausible, non-Lalo candidate is Gus Fring (not personally, obviously, but one of his men). Now that Gus knows for sure that Lalo lives to smile one more day, he’ll be watching like a hawk for the Salamanca’s resurgence. For all the reasons outlined above, Jimmy might be the only person Lalo could still turn to, and Gus will no doubt be keen to prevent that from happening. So as much as Lalo could follow Jimmy and Kim’s car, Gus could follow them in search of Lalo.
