According to fans, in fact, the presence of the letters D and R (used by the forensic police to locate evidence) is an unequivocal clue. In fact, D and R represent the fourth and eighteenth letter in the alphabet, and 4/18 could represent the release date. Will April 18, 2022 really be the release day of Better Call Saul 6?
As announced a few weeks ago, Better Call Saul’s sixth and final season will be split into two parts. The show, whose filming is currently underway, is preparing to reach the point of maximum connection with the main series from which it is taken. This sixth and final season, in fact, will necessarily have to mend all the ties with Breaking Bad. We all know, in fact, that the journey of Jimmy McGill (known by all as Saul Goodman) will have to end with his definitive transformation into the “scoundrel” lawyer.
But that’s not the only connection point. Mike Ehrmantraut, for example, will have to become Gus Fring ‘s faithful right hand, just as Fring himself will have to “close his circle”. Not to mention Kim Wexler ‘s (Rhea Seehorn) future.
Better Call Saul 5: Where We Left Off
The final season ended with Lalo seeking revenge after escaping the assassination attempt planned by Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) and the traitor “Nacho Varga”. With the show’s final season on the horizon, there are still plenty of unanswered questions that Better Call Saul will have to answer. Bob Odenkirk, who plays Jimmy McGill, has already teased that Better Call Saul’s ending will be extreme and likely to involve these three villains.
Don Eladio is the leader of the cartel, while Juan Bolsa and Lalo Salamanca are high-ranking members who have committed atrocious acts over the course of both series. All three characters were instrumental in Better Call Saul, providing the background to their appearances in Breaking Bad and associating with Gus Fring and Jimmy McGill. There is no doubt that all three of these villains will be crucial in the show’s final season and will shape the course of the series as it approaches the events seen in Breaking Bad.
