Animal Day 1 Box Office Collection: Ranbir Kapoor Starred Become Third Highest Opener of 2023 History
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal has opened at the box office with full power on the first day. The film also left behind the first blockbuster of 2023, Pathaan, in terms of opening. Animal Day 1 Box Office Collection: Friday Box Office
The hype of Animal was created due to two major factors – director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor. Vanga has already created his fan following with films like ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kabir Singh’. For ‘Animal‘ he had announced that this time the violence would be at its peak. There will be more criticism than before. As it is said in the scriptures of marketing, ‘Negative publicity is also publicity’. The way the public and critics are divided regarding the film is also working in its favor. People are curious to see what made Vanga so polarizing.

Taran Adarsh says that ‘Animal‘ was not released on any holiday. Nor was there a cameo of any superstar in the film. Here we are talking about ‘Pathan’ and ‘Tiger 3’. The film got the adult certificate. Its length is three hours 21 minutes. There was a direct clash with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’. Still, it opened with a strong opening. It would not be wrong to say that the Vanga factor worked for the film. ‘Animal’ has become the second-highest opening film of this year. The first spot is in the name of Shahrukh’s ‘Jawan’. ‘Jawan’ opened with an opening of Rs 75 crore. After that ‘Pathan’ was number two. ‘Pathan’, released on January 25, collected Rs 57 crore on the first day. ‘Animal’ did not just break the record of ‘Pathan’. This film has also become the biggest opening film of Ranbir Kapoor’s career. Before that, this record was recorded under the names of ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Sanju’.
‘Animal’ has collected more than Rs 60 crore on the first day in India. The film has created a similar uproar in terms of worldwide collections. According to the makers, the film has made a gross collection of Rs 116 crore worldwide. Gross is the figure before tax is deducted. On the other hand, net collection shows the earnings after deducting tax. Based on the bomb that ‘Animal‘ created on the first day, the opening weekend is also going to be a great one for the film. It is being told that it will be among the highest-grossing Hindi films of this year.
