Alice in Borderland 2: Here Are Some First Images From The Netflix Series and What We Know About Release Date
Netflix has released the first images from the set of Alice in Borderland 2, taken from the famous manga by Haro Aso. Season 1 of Alice in Borderland premiered on Netflix in December 2020. It was the most viewed live-action series in Japan in 2020 and ranked in Netflix’s top 10 in 40 countries and territories around the world.
As for the second season, Shinsuke Satō (live-action Bleach, film Kingdom, anime film Oblivion Island) will be directing the series again. Yoshiki Watabe and Yasuko Kuramitsu will write screenplays with Satō again. ROBOT is accredited for design and manufacturing. The cast sees again Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Aya Asahina, Nobuaki Kaneko, Ayame Misaki.

Now, to see the trailer we have to wait a little longer but at least, during its Geeked Week, Netflix has released the first three photos of the second season that give fans a look at the main characters of the show, Ryohei Arisu, played by Kento Yamazaki., and Yuzuha Usagi, played by Tao Tsuchiya, as they continue to fight for their survival.
Haro Aso began serializing the manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday S (formerly Shōnen Sunday Chō ) magazine in 2010. The series was ported to Weekly Shonen Sunday when it entered its final story arc in March 2015 and concluded in March 2016 with 18 volumes in total.
