Akhanda Digital OTT Rights Acquired By Disney Plus Hotstar & Satellite By Star Maa
Akhanda directed by Boyapati Srinu starring Nandamuri Balakrishna is about to release. The Disney Plus Hotstar bagged the OTT rights of the film while Star Maa bagged Satellite right of the much awaited film.
It is known that a movie called Akhanda is being released under the direction of Boyapati Srinu with Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna in the lead role. The film is currently shooting fast. The film crew has announced that the blockbuster film will be released on May 28 by NTR Jayanti.
During Ugadi, the film crew released a teaser for the film. But now this ‘Akhanda’ teaser is trending on social media. Akhanda teaser is gaining popularity on YouTube. Netizens are making tribal comments. Balayya is said to be back. And this ‘Akhanda’ teaser got 12 million views in just 24 hours of its release.
It seems that the business of this film has just taken place in O Range. The digital rights to the film were acquired by Hot Star. As part of that, the streaming rights were reportedly sold for Rs 15 crore. The satellite rights of this movie were acquired by Star Maa. Theatrical rights, on the other hand, are also reported to have sold for a hefty price.
Not to mention the information that this blockbuster movie will touch the highest figures in Bala’s career. After this movie, Bala will make a movie with crack director Gopichand. Bala and Gopichand will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Script work in progress.
