Six Years Gone Review and Analysis
Well, director Dudley wisely really impressed us, with a very heart-touching story and struggle of a mother. the film tells us when everybody is hopeless, a mother never loses her hope. The film starts at a slow pace and it’s not a very fast movie but you will be stuck with this. The story of the film is very interesting, which will not let you get bored. At the same time, the direction of the film is also such, which will keep you connected with it from beginning to end. Although the climax of the film could have been more interesting, the lack of work at the end of the story may miss you. However, since the story is good from the beginning, you will be able to ignore this thing.
The film keeps the curiosity peeking into it. The director has taken some cinematic leeway in the second part, but by then he would have conveyed his point beautifully. The reason for watching the film is also the great performance of the actors. The first half successfully establishes the story and suspense of the film while its second half is a revelation (quite literally). Despite a few dull moments in the second half, just before the climax of the film and the climax made up for it. The prime plot of the film comes as an accidental event.
The character of a mother who will do anything to save her daughter, a woman who does not tolerate injustice and goes to any extent, has been closely captured and she is the Hero of the film. That the film till the interval is presented quite effectively. The characters start doing their work just 5-7 minutes after the film starts. It was not known when the first and a half hours of this one-hour forty-minute (1.40 hours) film had passed away. But after the interval, the story gradually starts feeling filmy. There are many scenes and events that can be easily predicted. The music in the film is negligible. But an important issue has been raised for the story of the film and it has been presented in a very brilliant way.
