Control Z Season 3 Ending Explained: Is Bruno Dead? Who Was the Real Hacker? Netflix Series Ending!

Control Z Season 3 Ending Explained: Control Z is one of the best-known Mexican series on Netflix, which has three seasons that are quite intriguing, both for its characters and the secrets that each one of them has. In the first season, we saw how a Hacker emerges who makes life impossible for everyone, adding the death of Luis, the shy Gay boy who died from a blow caused by Gerry. After this, the main objective was to know the identity of the so-called “Avenger”, who after several chapters was discovered to be Alex.

Let us remember that Sofía along with Javi were the protagonists who insisted on finding these clues to discover who the dreaded hacker was. Sofía in the first season has an affair with Raúl, who was the millionaire student who lost everything, being responsible for revealing that one of his classmates was transgender, among other revelations, all to get closer to Sofía.

Control Z Season 3 Review

A few days ago, Netflix gave us the third and final season of this great story. In the third season, the hacker is recharged with hate and worse than in the third season. In the first episodes, we see how the students at the National School make a pact of silence for the death of their director Susana, after some struggles over a bag of money that caused her death, after falling from the roof of the school building.

Control Z Season 3: Story Recap

The formula was funny at first because it introduced some important messages in the process such as denouncing bullying, self-affirmation in adolescence or diversity, but the third season clicks and stamps noisily because it does nothing more than go around in circles, leaving a record of the exhaustion of the plot and the little or no coherence of the characters. Control Z Season 3 adds something new in a very clumsy way: the Escape Room concept, which of course is one of the strengths of Sofi, the main character.

She, played competently by actress Ana Valeria Becerril, was perhaps the one who gave this series a different feeling as she was a lonely and distant girl with the ability to see through people. Challenging her to compose a puzzle was what enthralled us most in this series and it was common to hear her thoughts, often satirical of her. However, inexplicably, the new story that they bring us lacks strength and on top of that, it brings filler by the handful. In truth, out of the eight episodes, only three of them might give you the information you need, the rest is bullshit.

The editing is one of its main disadvantages: the cuts are abrupt, the information barely falls apart as it unfolds, and the plot lurches make it easy to get off the story. As it was already sown at the end of season 2, the death of the director Susana led the group to meet before her body and make a drastic decision to save her future. And, to the glory of the writers, they ended up abandoning her and sealing a pact between them not to reveal what happened (very original).

Control Season 3 Ending Explained: Is Bruno Dead?

After the pact of silence, everything was working fine, until the hacker reappeared, where he has the protagonists against a rock and a hard place. Sofía and Javi became a couple in search of answers. Despite this, truths begin to emerge that separate them. This time, it was no longer a Hacker, but a community complete with skins called “All your secrets”.

After discovering that Bruno, after getting out of jail, would have created this pack of Hackers, Sofía makes the boys understand that what they were doing was not right and that nobody would expose their secrets. Finally, the group of students attended the graduation party, where Sofia was in charge of giving the farewell speech to finally confess everything. After spending some time, the students pay for Susana’s crime in the juvenile correctional facility.

In the last scene, Javi is seen talking to Sofía in a cafe, where he reveals his hypothesis that the real hacker was Raúl since he had the objective of separating them, that is where these friends take different paths showing Sofía and Raúl leaving on a motorcycle. It’s an open ending but it’s worth watching both seasons.
