Blasted: Sci-Fi Trailer For The Netflix Comedy Between Hangover And Hot Fuzz | Netflix Geeked Week 2022
Bros before UFOs, friar before aliens: promises to be irreverent and hilarious Blasted, the Netflix film presented during Netflix Geeked Week and which will arrive by the end of June on the streaming platform. The Hangover + Hot Fuzz = Blasted, announces the Netflix Twitter account and there is some truth, at least judging by the trailer proposed during the Netflix event dedicated to the original films of the platform.
Blasted is a sci-fi comedy made in Norway starring an unlikely duo of “bro”, friends for the skin who are passionate about paintball (the sport that sees two teams face off with guns and shotguns loaded with paint to simulate a war). On the occasion of Sebastian’s wedding, the protagonists organize an epic paintball session to celebrate his bachelor party. During the challenge, they will mistakenly hit a man, who they later discover is an alien.
Through a fortuitous and amusing series of misunderstandings, the group of bros will discover that a full-blown alien invasion is underway! The only weak point of the extraterrestrial creatures in question? The laser guns used in laser tag, the “technological” version of paintball. The protagonists will thus embark on an unlikely mission to rescue the Earth, thanks to the experience gained in a field in which they have no rivals: challenge each other with friends in battles based on painting or lasers.

Blasted: Release Date
This crazy middle ground between the Hangover trilogy and the second chapter of the Cornetto Trilogy by Edgar Wright, to which we can also add the Let’s face it with James Franco and Seth Rogen, is the new Netflix title arriving on June 28th, 2022 one of the closers dates among the announcements of this Geeked Week, at least as regards the second day with a cinematic theme. In the face of many other much more anticipated projects, however; it could be an opportunity to recover the right entertainment while waiting for the next releases.
Blasted: The Story
The official synopsis reads: “Blasted follows childhood friends Sebastian (Axel Bøyum) and Mikkel (Fredrik Skogsrud), who have reunited for Sebastian’s bachelor party, ready to marry his soulmate. While Mikkel has never matured beyond the laser tag prodigy he was as a teenager, Sebastian has become a career-obsessed workaholic he’s using the party to get with a potential client. But when the festivities are abruptly interrupted by an alien invasion, it will be up to Mikkel and Sebastian to reunite as the insolent laser tag duo they once were and react”.
