But Nacho also hides a secret. He is not a simple gardener, but a Spanish mafia boss, the son of one of Massimo’s father’s historical rivals. First of all, Massimo has a twin brother who has never been talked about and who is very angry with him and his success. Both are motivated by jealousy, Anna, who has been scorned by Laura, and the brother, Adriano, who has always been the runt of the litter since he was born ten minutes after the older brother.

Before marrying Massimo, Laura reveals to her best friend Olga that she has not told her that she is pregnant. It is revealed that although she survived the accident, she sadly lost her baby. They get married, but cracks soon appear: Massimo goes back to his old ways and Laura refuses to meet all her demands. Olga and Domenico get engaged at Christmas and seem to be happy together, further widening the distance between Laura and Massimo. Things come to a head when, at a party.

The plan was for Anna and Adriano to pick Laura up after the party, but she ended up leaving with Nacho. However, this is not necessarily a good thing for Laura, as Nacho reveals that he is the son of Don Fernando Matos, the “local mafia boss and eternal rival of her husband’s family.”

Don Matos wants to use Laura to convince Massimo to cede control of the family to his twin brother. However, Massimo refuses because Adriano is responsible for the death of his father. Unfortunately for Massimo, Laura ended up being taken away by the wrong bodyguard when he arrived at the meeting. Massimo and Nacho go looking for her and see Laura confronted by Adriano and Anna.

A Mexican standoff ensues, in which Adriano holds Laura hostage and taunts his brother about Laura’s abortion. Before Massimo can deal with this revelation, Laura tries to break free of it and is shot by Anna, who is in turn shot by Nacho. Massimo then shoots Adriano before he can shoot him. This is all very dramatic and it’s not clear who really died when Massimo cradles Laura at the end of 365 Days 2 That Day. Anna is probably dead and maybe Adriano too, but surely Laura isn’t, as we know a third movie is in the works.

The time has come for the summit between rival mafia families. The tension is sky high, when Nacho realizes that Adriano and Anna have also deceived her father: Laura is not in a safe place waiting for the end of the negotiations, but she is in danger of life. Sincerely attracted to her, Nacho tells Massimo to follow him, gives him a gun. The two rivals run to save her.

In the meantime, Lauta has understood that Adriano is not Massimo and has guessed the truth. When her husband arrives, Adriano points the gun at Laura, who runs off to go back to Massimo. A shooting ensues in which Massimo kills Anna and Adriano, who shot Laura in the side. Massimo in despair rushes towards her. Her wife passed out and collapsed to the ground, she is losing a lot of blood. Nacho points the gun at him , then looks at Laura, thinks about it and walks away.
