The film directed and co-written by Academy Award-winning Domee Shi, centers on 13-year-old Mei Lee, who is torn between family loyalty, the chaos of puberty, and middle school growing pains. Along the way, she regularly transforms into a red giant panda.

Does Turning Red Have A Post-Credits Scene On Disney Plus?

The credits of Turning Red scroll to the tune of one of the songs from 4* Town, aided by a more spectacular animation which consists mainly of making the characters dance on the screen. Viewers might want to stick around until the end because Turning Red features a post-credits scene. It’s very brief and very cute, but it’s worth watching because it gives a fun insight into a character who doesn’t have as big of a role as others.

Viewers will likely laugh at the post-credits scene of Turning Red because it’s unexpected and continues to expand on Mei’s family and the time period in which the film is set. The post-credits scene of Turning Red doesn’t establish a sequel or necessarily add additional elements to the film’s main plot, but it’s a fun moment that works on many levels. Pixar films tend to have a post-credits scene that is in keeping with the tone of the film rather than being a teaser for something else to come.
