Power Book IV: Force Renewed For A Second Season By Starz And Starzplay | Power Force Season 2

We already know that the universe of the Power TV series is constantly expanding. From February on STARZPLAY will expand further with the fourth spinoff entitled Power Book IV: Force which will tell the story of the character of Tommy Egan. The series will debut with the first episode on Sunday 6 February 2022 on STARZPLAY, with one episode a week every Sunday.

Power Book IV: Force is produced by Coutney A. Kemp and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson creator of the entire Power Universe through G-Unit Film and Television. Producers also include Mark Canton, Chris Selak, Shana Stein and Bart Wenric. Lionsgate Television is the primary production house for the series.

Power Book IV: Force, Plot

The series will tell the story of Tommy Egan, after he cuts ties with New York and leaves it behind forever. Tommy leaves New York following Ghost’s death, abandoning LaKeisha and the only city he has ever known, but makes a quick detour to close an old wound that has haunted him for decades. What was supposed to be a short stop turns into a journey into the maze of family secrets and lies that Tommy thought were long gone.

One step leads to another and Tommy quickly finds himself in the Chicago drug ring, placing himself between the two most powerful gangs in the city. In a city where people are divided by ethnicity, Tommy stands at the center, eventually becoming the hub that not only unites the parts but holds the power to unravel them. The first season proceeds at breakneck speed, Tommy uses his outsider status to his advantage, breaking all local rules and rewriting them with the aim of becoming Chicago’s biggest drug dealer.

Power Book IV: Force has been renewed for a second season by STARZ and STARZPLAY, “Fans have been looking forward to Joseph’s return as iconic Tommy Egan and since the show’s record-breaking debut, it was immediately clear they wanted to see another season of the protagonist to conquer this new city” said Jeffrey Hirsch, President and CEO of STARZ.
