Fantastic Beasts 3: 18 Character Posters Of Old And New Characters Released
Warner Bros. has unveiled new Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore character posters that highlight new and returning Harry Potter characters. The third installment of the Harry Potter prequel franchise picks up in the 1930s and explores the events that led to the wizarding world’s involvement in World War II as Gellert Grindelwald ‘s power continues to grow rapidly. To try to restore peace, Albus Dumbledore creates a team of people he can trust led by Newt Scamander in an attempt to stop Grindelwald’s campaign, even as he grapples with his decision to remain on the sidelines.

Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law return to lead the cast of Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets as Newt and the principal of Hogwarts alongside Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams and Katherine Waterston.
The trequel also marks the introduction to the franchise of Mads Mikkelsen as Grindelwald, taking over as Johnny Depp after being asked to step down due to his court battle with ex-wife Amber Heard. Following this change and the numerous delays related to COVID-19, Fantastic Beasts 3 is now preparing to hit theaters in April.
Ahead of the arrival of the new trailer this week, the official Wizarding World Twitter account unveiled a collection of new posters of the characters from Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore New main graphics highlight both new and returning characters, including Eddie Redmayne‘s Newt, Jude Law‘s Albus, Victoria Yeates ‘Bunty, William Nadylam‘s Yusuf, Callum Turner ‘s Theseus, Jessica Williams‘s Lally, Jacob by Dan Fogler, Aberforth by Richard Coyle, Newt’s magical creatures, Pet Pickettand Teddy and Grindelwald by Mads Mikkelsen, Credence by Ezra Miller, Queenie by Alison Sudol, Vinda by Poppy Corby-Tuech, Helmut by Aleksandr Kusnetzov, Anton Vogel by Oliver Mascucci, Vicência Santos by Maria Fernanda Cândido and Liu Tao by Dave Wong.

For those who fell in love with the prequel franchise in its first two films, the new character posters for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore should be an exciting revelation. Interestingly, the new character poster collection is missing Katherine Waterston‘s Tina, who is confirmed as part of the film’s cast.
As with the previous movie poster, the new Fantastic Beasts 3 character posters see both sides of the wizarding world subtly constructing the shape of a phoenix. In JK Rowling‘s novels, Dumbledore’s Patronus was that of a phoenix while the future headmaster of Hogwarts also has one as a pet named Fawkes and as the new film will shine with a greater emphasis on the character’s incarnation by Law, it’s understandable that the phoenix was the subject of quite a few recurring imagery for the film’s marketing. The wait for Fantastic Beasts 3 is almost over, the film will be released in theaters on April 15th, 2022!
