The Book of Boba Fett: The Explanation Of The Post Credits Scene! Who Is In The Tank?
The Book of Boba Fett season one finale gave fans a variety of thrills and somehow accomplished the main mission of its lead character. In addition, he offered his audience a scene during the credits that bodes well for the fate of a certain character. The Book of Boba Fett: The Explanation Of The Post Credits Scene The Bacta Tub
After in Mos Eisley Fennec Shand kills the union leaders who betrayed Boba Fett, hanged the mayor of Tatooine and stabbed the union leader Pyke to death, the scene shifts to the sandy streets where she and Boba Fett receive. honors from the inhabitants of Tatooine. At this juncture, the former bounty hunter feels pain in his right arm so Shand advises him to take a bath of Bacta ‘s tub , but Fett responds by saying that she “has already been used”.
The doubt about who had used the tub is dissolved during the credits and more precisely after the magnificent color concept art created for the show. The scene opens inside what was once the palace of Jabba the Hutt. The shot moves closer to Bacta’s tank until Cobb Vanth is immersed in the liquid.
Bacta is a liquid that has healing effects. The first appearance of this tank is due to the use made of it by Luke Skywalker in the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back , after being attacked by a creature, the Wampa, on the frozen planet Hoth. The same type of tub can be seen in the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story inside Darth Vader’s fortress. The Episode IV prequel film shows Anakin Skywalker in the tub presumably to alleviate pain due to burns and a lack of lower limbs.
Cobb Vanth’s Wound
Cobb Vanth, played by Timothy Olyphant, was the victim of a laser blast from bounty hunter Cad Bane in episode number 6 of The Book of Boba Fett. The scene in question does not show where Vanth is shot but shows the body of the sheriff on the ground unconscious:
Evidently, the citizens of FreeTown have urgently transported Vanth’s body to Fett’s palace to repair his severe wound. The Book of Boba Fett’s credits scene also shows another character, the modifier seen in Boba Fett’s flashback of episode 4. This one, played by Stephen “Thundercat” Bruner, is capable of replacing parts of the human body with mechanical parts. It is therefore conceivable that Vanth has a wound to one of the vital organs.
The implication is that Boba kept his promise and Krrsantan recovers in the tank. But there’s a twist: It’s not Krrsantan in the bacta tank when he shows up to hang out with the rest of the gang downtown eating fruit, laughing and joking because they’re all friends now.
You have to wait for the end credits, where the camera slowly pans over to a blue-drenched figure in the bacta tank to find out who it is. It’s a little hard to tell who’s there at first, and you might be distracted by the presence of the tank man “The Modifier” (played by Stephen Bruner aka Thundercat), but the answer is none other than Cobb Vanth ( Timothy Olyphant). Cad Bane left the latter for dead in Freetown in the previous episode and the ending emphasized Vanth’s “death”, as the people of Freetown showed up to save Boba, honoring Vanth’s sacrifice on his behalf.
Moving Meeting
The other conclusion is that after receiving an ultimatum from Luke Skywalker, Grogu decided to seek out Mando and not continue his Jedi training. Clearly, his attachment to his surrogate father is much stronger than his desire to learn. Grogu lands on Tatooine in an X-wing with R2-D2 and is greeted by Peli Motto, who takes him to see Mando. It’s a very emotional reunion that takes place when the little green jumps into Mando’s arms. He is already putting his use-of-force lessons to use and helping in battle.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, The Book Of Boba Fett is more than half a season of The Mandalorian than a true Boba Fett series. The Mandalorian essentially picked up episodes 5 and 6 of the spin-off series, continuing the story from the season 2 finale, sending Boba Fett stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen into the background. fans of The Mandalorian should therefore watch at least the last three episodes of Boba Fett to stay on top of Din Djarin and Grogu’s adventures since the season 2 finale.
As for season 3 of The Mandalorian , it should arrive at the end of the year 2022. Its production has been delayed, probably in part due to Pedro Pascal’s bet on the series. HBO’s The Last of Us. All 7 The Book Boba Fett episodes are available on Disney+. There’s currently no word on a season 2, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Boba Fett’s characters showed up in The Mandalorian. Regardless, we were expecting more from The Book Of Boba Fett, a series that appears to have been created simply to tie two seasons of The Mandalorian together.
