At the end of More the Merrier, Pablo and Clara finally release the tension between them by unexpectedly having sex in the darkroom and admitting that they are attracted to each other. Alba ends up finding her engagement ring and confesses to her fiance that she cheated on him, before they agree to an open marriage.
Jaime and Belén enter Club Paradiso as a couple and meet another couple, Miguel and Ana. After this evening, all four go out single, to the great benefit of all. Raúl, in search of an unattached getaway, ends up finding Víctor, his next flame. Finally, to the chagrin of Alberto and Paco, their wives Claudia and Marta awaken each other to sexuality.
More the Merrier doesn’t have much to offer in terms of substance, and its message about appreciating unique sexual and romantic practices could have been more impactful. You could argue that the impact was lost in the translation, but the reviews for the Spanish and English versions are both average.
