Doctor G: Release Date Out Starring Ayushmann Khurran and Rakul Preet Singh

After Junglee Pictures announced the release date of ‘Badhaai Do’ (Republic Day Weekend) last week, the studio has now announced the theatrical release date of their much-awaited film ‘Doctor G’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah on June 17, 2022. has been disclosed.

It will be interesting to see Ayushmann playing the role of a gynecologist for the first time alongside Rakul and veteran actress Shefali Shah in the campus comedy drama. After two successful collaborations ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ (2017) and ‘Badhaai Ho’ (2018), both Ayushmann and Junglee Pictures are all set to hit a hat-trick at the box office once again.

Amrita Pandey of Junglee Pictures says, “The writers of the film – Sumit, Saurabh and Vishal have collaborated with Anubhuti to create a brilliant script of ‘Doctor G’ which Anubhuti has taken to a different level. Can’t wait to bring it to theaters in June.”

Anubhuti Kashyap, who is making her feature directorial debut with the film, says, “With the shooting of the film complete, we are now gearing up to get the film ready for the theatres. I am Ayushmann, Rakul, Shefali, Really happy to have the opportunity to work with Junglee and the entire team of ‘Doctor G’ who stood by me and this is reflected on the screen as well. Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, ‘Doctor G’ is a campus comedy drama co-written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh and Saurabh Bharat. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah, Doctor G is scheduled to release on June 17, 2022.
