Maha Samudram Review: The Story

Arjun (Sharvanand) and Vijay (Siddharth) are best friends in Vizag. If Vijay’s dream is to get a police job even if it is a small business Arjun wants to stand on his own two feet. Maha (Aditirao Haidari), Vijay is in love. Arjun (Sharwanand) likes Smita (Anu Emmanuel) at first sight. But one unforeseen event turns their lives upside down. What was the actual incident? Why did Vijay want to be a police officer? What do Dhanunjay (Garuda Ram), Gooni Babji (Rao Ramesh) and Chunchu Mama (Jagapati Babu) have to do with their stories? Where did their lives go in the end? If you want to know, you have to watch a movie.

The story written by director Ajay Bhupathi is excellent but the story has missed the mark in some places. It seems that there is a bit of confusion as to whether it should be run as a love movie or not. The film progresses somewhat slowly with the introduction of the characters at the beginning of the film. The story runs only when there is a crucial turning point in the story. Interval scene, however is the best action sequence in Sharwanand’s career. Then in the second half the story slows down again. The climactic scenes are the biggest minus for the film. The whole tempo up to the pre-climax seems to have been wasted all at once. It seems that the director himself did not know how to finish. Overall strong characters, despite writing a good story. The film stopped near the average due to the lack of narration.

The Review and Analysis

Director Ajay Bhupathi has entered the Telugu industry with the film RX 100. The movie also runs like a romantic crime story. Maha Samudram is a movie of the same genre. Almost 8 years later Siddharth made a re-entry with this film. However, as Siddharth has said before, even though Siddharth plays the lead role in the film, the predominant character seems to be Sharwanand the Amo But the director tried to show the two heroes equally on screen. When it comes to performances, all the actors performed well in their roles. But in terms of the story, it seems that justice has not been done to the performance of the characters in the film. The twist that comes to us as long as we watch the movie is also easily understood. The novelty in the story is diminished. We ‘ve seen a lot of movies like this before. The songs and cinematography provided by Chaitan Bhardwaj are all very good.

Raj Thota cinematography, Chetan Bhardwaj music are the biggest plus points for the film. Raj showed Vizag very beautifully with his camera eye. While Chetan Bhardwaj’s songs are already super hit the background music has made the love and emotional scenes more heartfelt the action scenes more intense. Producer Anil Sunkara also directed the film at no cost. Every frame in the movie looks very rich.

Maha Samudram Review: Star Performances

Sharwanand and Siddharth impressed the audience with their amazing performances. Delivered the best performance in full with innovative characters. The role of the heroine is very important in this movie. Aditirao Haidari in particular was given an impressive role. She also did full justice to the character she created for herself. Anu Emmanuel also showed his performance very nicely. Jagapathibabu and Rao Ramesh, another highlight of the film, also acted superbly. Everyone’s character in this movie is very different.

When it comes to actors such roles are nothing new to Sharwanand. He has played such roles in films like Prasthanam, Ranarangam and Satya 2. Sharwa did full justice to the role of Arjun. Siddharth has never done such a mass roll in Telugu. It is a bit new to see Siddharth in such a role as we know in Lover Boy roles. I can’t say how much this role will be a plus for Siddharth’s career but it can be said that this role has gone to another level because of Siddharth.

Perfect choice for the great role of Aditya Rao Hydari. In some scenes he pretends to be with his eyes. Cheppake. Cheppake is the highlight of his performance in the song. No matter how much is said about his character they become spoilers. The longer Anu Emmanuel acted the better. Rao Ramesh played the role of Gooni Babji and Jagapathibabu played the role of Chunchu Mama. Jagapathibabu has not played such a smart role in recent times.

Maha Samudram Review: The Final Words

Overall a strong story weak scenes swallowed up. No matter how good the movie is the cinematic scenes have to impress the audience coming out of the theater. If they are awesome he will forgive no matter how dull the movie before him. If they are weak Baladure says even if you show Bahubali before that. However, the whole Maha Samudram movie is good. If the director had clarity in the climactic scenes and wrote otherwise it would have been a big hit. That one thing aside, the Maha Samudram does not disappoint at all.
