Class of 1998, Yerin Ha was born in Sydney, Australia, to parents who were both South Korean. His grandmother, in fact, is Son Sook, a well-known Korean actress and politician. As a teenager, Yerin decided to become an actress and began studying acting in South Korea, at Kaywon High School of Arts in Seoul, where she studied for 3 years.
After graduating in Fine Arts, Yerin specialized in acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney and thus began his theatrical career. According to the Korean Herald, the actress’s grandmother is Son Sook, a famous South Korean interpreter. In a 2022 interview, He admitted that he still feels the need to prove his worth: “Although Halo was a great achievement, I know I still have so much to learn to become a better actress”.
