Stranger Things 4: What Is The Mysterious Creel House? Find Out What We Know

Everything indicates that season 4 of Stranger Things is going to be much scarier than the previous one, not only because there is the promise of the return of Doctor Brenner (aka Eleven’s “dad”) or because we could see more of the brutal experiments that They were made with children, but because there is literally a haunted house that is part of history.

Creel House

The first season 4 teaser confirmed that Hopper was alive somewhere in Russia, the second took us to the Rainbow Room with Eleven’s possible siblings (we know Eleven wasn’t the only girl who passed through Brenner’s hands, but still we have not seen what happened with the others), and the most recent invites us to visit Creel House, a house where, apparently, something strange and dark happened a few years ago.

The Duffer brothers, creators of the series, said that the Creel House is a very important location for Stranger Things 4, but they did not reveal if it is a place that is in Hawkins or some other part of the world (like a Russian military base where supernatural experiments are performed, for example).

What Exactly is Creel House?

The Stranger Things teaser shows Will, Lucas, Dustin, Max and Steve entering Creel House during the night and they seem to be looking for clues to solve some mystery, but, without Mike or Eleven, it seems to be a kind of challenge where they have to take something from the house to prove that they really entered.

There we can see a large clock, many cobwebs and forgotten objects of the family that used to live in the house. The teaser also showed the family that moved there during the 50s (in the background you can hear Dream A Little Dream of Me by Ella Fitzgerald and that could also be a clue to what really happens there).

At its best, the Creel House, which is a mansion, looked like the perfect house for a happy family, but little by little things start to get weird, the lights flicker on their own and several mutilated rabbits are even found in the house. garden, you can even see dead children inside the house.

We know that Victor Creel will appear in season 4 and that he will be played by Robert Englund, who was the actor who played Freddy Krueger in the horror classics, so you can think that the character will be dark. According to the fandom’s official wikipedia page, Victor Creel was a patient incarcerated at Pennhurst Mental Hospital for a gruesome murder he committed in the 1950s, and the official Stranger Things Twitter account announced a host of characters, including Creel is described as “a disturbed and intimidating man”. Creel was also said to have gone blind after getting his eyes pierced at some point in his life.

All of this points to one thing: Victor Creel may have been experiencing dire visions during his life, probably after his arrival at Creel House, and it may have been him who killed the rabbits and children in the trailer. But we do not know if Creel House is some kind of Overlook Hotel , which led Victor to lose his mind, or if the man had supernatural powers that he did not know how to control and that led him to do horrible things. Another video on the Stranger Things Instagram says that a “vengeful demon” killed the family and that it was a “bloodbath.” How did Victor survive?

It seems that Creel House could be the key to understanding the origin of Brenner and Eleven’s experiments, and Will, Dustin, Lucas and company are going to discover it almost by accident, and that could lead to them contacting Mike and Eleven, who are living in another town away from Hawkins and everything to do with the Upside Down.
